What is your goal?

Do you want to shed some pounds? Do you want to tone up?

Let me tell you a little secret......

Exercise alone will not get you the result that you are looking for.

When you have a goal that is to change your body composition, working your butt off and sweating for hours in the gym will not get you the results you want.

Recent studies done at the University of Texas and another one done at the University of Oklahoma show that a weight loss program with only exercise, so without a good nutrition program, produces low and minimal fat loss results.

Look at the results:

The University of Texas took two sedentary groups to study. The first group of 50 was the control group and remained completely sedentary for the 12 weeks of the study. The second group was the exercise group. And this group worked with a trainer to perform 3 strength and 2 interval exercise sessions per week. So a total of 5 exercise hours/week. Both groups were instructed to keep their diets the same. And analysis showed at the beginning and at the end of the study that their diets hadn’t changed at all.

So what did the researchers find?

Well although statistically the exercise group did lose more fat than the sedentary group, the total amount of fat lost in the exercise group was only 1.5 pounds. So in this study say the exercise group had hired personal trainers for each 50 people, that would have been 5 hours a week for 12 weeks is 60 hours at about $50/hour that is about $3000 for only 1.5lbs of fat loss! That is not good.

Now, take the Oklahoma study. In this study they took one group of 10 that was the control group and were completely sedentary for the 10 week study. The second group of 14 were considered the exercise group and this group worked with a trainer to perform 2 strength and 3 steady state cardio sessions per week. So about 5 total hours of exercise/week. Both groups again were instructed to keep their diets the same. And again analysis showed that at the beginning and the end their diets hadn’t changed at all.

So what did the researchers find?

Although the exercise group again did lose more fat than the sedentary group the total amount was only 1.5lbs. The same as the Texas study. These 14 people hired personal trainers and spent $3500 and 50 hours of training (5 hours/week for 10 weeks) and with only 1.5lbs of fat loss.

And I could site more studies, but all of the results are similar.

Exercise alone without the intervention of a good nutrition program isn’t effective in getting the body that you want.

How is my program better than other personal trainers?

You know that exercise alone does not give you the results that you are looking for. My program focuses on Nutrition. And here is how the program works.

1. First I am going to assess you. Through filling out some questionnaires and assessments that I will give you I can then find out what your limiting factor. Limiting factors are things that are right now stopping you from having the body that you do not have right now.

2. Then I can come up with a Nutrition plan or program based on you, this is not a one size fits all program like most programs. This is based on YOU! My program will be based on giving you the largest result from the smallest change possible. 

  3. Then every 2 weeks we measure your progress. This is done by measuring your behavior and outcome stats.  Behavior stats are very important to measure but not many trainers are doing. In fact, I dare you to call other trainers and ask them if they measure your behavior stats. That is why most people who work with or without a trainer do not achieve the results they want. And outcome stats are measured to see if the program is working, if not we change it, if it is working then great!
   
  4. Then adjusting. If something isn’t working we adjust. This is why we must meet every 2 weeks to measure your behavior and outcome stats.


You could go and buy a weight loss program on TV or a book or diet magazine or pay a personal trainer $50 an hour twice a week for 12 weeks for $1200!! And maybe you’ll lose some weight and probably lose a lot of money!

But what happens in 3,6, or 12 months after the program is done?
Or what happens when you get bored of the same program??

What happens to about 90% of people who go on a weight loss journey?
They gain it all back after.

Why?
Cause you are not changing your lifestyle, you are not changing your behavior, you are not monitoring your outcome based stats, and finally you don’t know how to change and monitor yourself cause the program you bought doesn’t do any of this.

Remember exercise alone will not get you the body that you want.

The only thing left to do is ask yourself.....
  •          What is a body that I would LOVE to have?
  •          Do I have that body?
  •          Am I worth having that body?
