21 Days to Detox your Body

Everyone needs to detox their bodies. In fact you should do so daily. Now I am not talking about those cleanses or cleanse products, those I do NOT promote for a number of reasons. I will save that for another post. The main reason I do not advice towards those "detox cleansers" products is most of them strip away your healthy probiotic bacteria which you need. If you want to detox or cleanse your body, do it by feeding your body good healthy foods.

Number one food that can help you cleanse your system:

LEMONS

Every day, morning preferably drink a glass of hot water with lemon. If you can't get in the hot water at least do this with your cold water bottle. Squeeze half a lemon into the cup. The lemon stimulates your digestive juices and helps to detoxify your liver and blood.

Everyone can do this and it is SUPER cheap. Half a lemon a day......cleanse your body.......become "regular" and perhaps lose some weight and inches. Why not try it??

New Exercise Challenge 4 U

Alright, the votes are in and most of you wanted this weeks FUN Challenge to be an exercise. We have done squats, push-ups, and one-legged balancing. This week I challenge you to see how long you can hold the Plank for. Each day you should try to beat the day before's time.






Now here are my tips:

 1. You can do this move from your elbows, like Brooke is doing or you can do this from your hands. I find this easier, others find on the elbows easier. I think the hands is easier cause your arms are acting like long poles that are holding most of your upper body weight. But up to you which ever way you do it, you still get the benefits of a stronger 'core' and stronger arms.

2. Like the girls mentioned in the video, don't shag your lower back, but also don't stick your butt up in the air. You want a parallel line with the floor.

3. Lastly, hold your 'tummy' in like your brother is about to punch you in the gut. You know that feeling. Or maybe you don't, if you don't, I know you know what it feels like to suck it in when you are trying to look good in that little black dress or men, that shirt? Yah, that feeling....suck it in.

4. I lied, one more thing, focus on your breathing, 4 count inhales in and 4 count exhales out helps me to get the focus off the pain or the shakes.


Remember: "Pain is Weakness Leaving the Body", so suck it up and just do it!

Do this everyday to reap many benefits

A few years ago, I heard a women tell her story of how she overcame breast cancer. It is a long story and to not bore you, I will do the short version. After she was diagnosed and was told she only had less than 9 months to live, she thought, I might as well make the most of these 9 months. Every night for the next 9 months she watched every funny movie she could. And you can probably guess what happened to her right? Happy ending of course. Her cancer had disappeared without any treatment. Could it have been the many countless hours spent laughing that made her cancer free? 

Scientists at the University of Oxford in England found that a good laugh significantly raises pain tolerance by flooding the brain with endorphins-natural opioid that are produced in the central nervous system and can dull your aches and pains as effectively as a pill. 

Now I am not saying that laughing will make you cancer free, however I do believe as well as scientists now that laughing can make you pain free, stress free and since you are less stressed and painless perhaps this could help you lose some inches and pounds. Sounds good and easy and cheap to me! 

So here is your weekly challenge for the next week: Laugh daily, if not several times a day. Post up on my FIT2U Facebook page maybe a joke if you have one that you would like to share with everyone or maybe a picture or video that you think is funny for all of us to laugh our way pain and stress free this week, and hey maybe loose a few inches....BONUS!!!
